Although this is the best job in the world and those who are blessed with it are the luckiest people but still like any other job it has its pros and cons. Let take a ride together down this notorious list of pros and cons

Evolution

One of the most important aspects of parenting is that you have to evolve constantly as kids are growing, learning, and socializing and therefore are going through a constant process of change and evolution. Keeping up is the tricky part although no matter how hard you push it there is always something that comes swinging your way when you least expect it. From a newborn to a grown teen and even with their kids your job is on and whether you like it or not you have to do it. But this process of evolution is also the best part because this is where all the good memories are created and all those moments when you burst with the feeling of love and pride where all the effort is redeemed but come on folks you didn’t think that’s it, all green and pretty but believe me it’s not because there would be times when you wish you have slept through the night if you know what I mean. This contrast is what makes it worthwhile and after a long journey through the yard of parenting when you look back there is never a dull moment, all those times when you thought this is the worst of it look like a dimming funny clip.

Education

Yeah, you read that right education is also involved once your kids are past third grade every time you sit at homework this creepy feeling of being an ancient creature takes you over. Suddenly you realize what you studied is a story of the past and the world has moved on without you, the entire syllabus has traveled back three to four grades and suddenly you realize it’s not fun anymore. By the time you realize that you have to study yourself to keep up with an oncoming streak of questions fun flies out of the window and now it’s a serious job.

Psychology

Well, this is going to be fun right? How hard can it be to understand the psychology of a growing kid but believe me mate you are in for a big surprise? Yeah, you were once that age but since then there’s been a whole lot of water has flown under the bridge and all the thought process you had at the time have vanished away in the dust of time, everything has to be processed and dealt with once again. Remember mom and dad couldn’t understand you well now you are at the receiving end and this time around you are new to this Gig as much as they are so keep abreast and put your best foot forward and even if you screw up don’t worry there are always worst examples just around the corner. All that matters is the commitment to resolve any bad situation because all these moments need is to bridge up the communication gap and of course, loosen up your stance a little, yeah you read that right.

Games

One thing to understand is that not every parent is lucky enough to have a kid that follows the same sport as he did. Whether you were a self-proclaimed star of the arena or an enthusiast follower your kid has his priority and likes it or not whatever game he is playing that is your game now so buckle up boys and do it wholeheartedly.

Entertainment

Entertainment has a whole new meaning now, music that you were so fond of has packed up its luggage and lest the scene, it’s a new world with new stars and whether you like it or not this is the truth of the moment. As they say, if you can’t beat them join them, or at least that’s what I do
